Cameras for a low ceiling, and sometimes a modular body when there is no room for a full dome. Installation approvals come from the bodies authorised to sign off equipment in the railcar — fire, electromagnetic compatibility, endurance in motion.
Every function runs while the railcar is moving: spotting an event, keeping a local record, alerting the control room. Raw video does not have to leave the railcar. That is also the approach deployed worldwide, at different security levels.
